The Statistics
Much of the advice given here is universal for all cancers. More than one in three of us will be diagnosed
with cancer at some time in our lives.
Breast cancer makes up about 15% of new cancers diagnosed in the UK each year.
That is 41,000 new cases each year and represents 1 in 3 of all cancers in women.
Breast cancer is the 3rd most common cause of cancer death, a staggering 12,600 deaths in the UK each year.
Cancer Research UK say that research suggests that
around half of all cancers diagnosed could have been prevented

Is there a cure for Cancer?
Lots of books tell you how to avoid or deal with various cancers. BUT they are all different.
Some are incoherent rambling books, others are so detailed you get bogged down in the words
and never get around to finishing them, let alone applying what you are reading. This book
aims to bring the best ideas together in a straight forward, practical way so that you can
have a lifetime rulebook to follow. I want you to get started NOW on the road to prevention.
I read lots of books. I knew the risks but I got lost in the words and I didn’t do anything about it.
I had my cancer surgically removed. If you still want to gamble on not being the one in three/four or
whatever please think again. There is no history of cancer in my family, at least there wasn’t.

Discovering YOU have got Cancer is Devastating
The process of diagnosis and operations and treatments and procedures is quite alarming.
Why not do everything you can to avoid it.
A few small lifestyle changes can make a huge difference to your body’s ability to keep you safe. I
want you to get started NOW on preventing cancer from getting you.
|
 |
Why Not...
Load your dice, cheat cancer, know your enemy and stay one jump ahead.
Do it for yourself and for your family. Then teach everyone you know.
We are all vulnerable. We are all under attack and it is time to fight back.
My chapters are short and to the point.
I want to give you the information up front. I won’t make you hunt for it.
Don’t forget to take advice from your Doctor before starting anything new and keep on with
any medication or treatments you are already taking. Then with permission get started
on the advice straight away and don’t look on it as a book to be read and forgotten. I want
you to live long and prosper.
|
 |
...Get Started Now...
I want you to get started on what you can do NOW to quick start your
prevent and defend tactics so you will find this information quickly
and easily. Where necessary this is then expanded and explained. Then follows advice
on ways to build on this good start and really gear up your fight.
|
 |
...Make a Few Small Changes...
I bring you foods and routines that can be used to enhance
prevention methods. Find out if your body is particularly
vulnerable to disease. Could a simple imbalance in your
body be causing your health to deteriorate or just be
preventing you from being 100%. Learn simple things you can
do to cut the carcinogens in your life and at the same time
make yourself a tough cookie where invading
cancer is concerned.
|
 |
...Then a Few More...
I want you to make whatever changes suit you and make sense
to you straight away. If you are not sure about something
or it involves a part of your life you are not prepared to
change leave it for now. Read about it in other books or at
the library. Weigh up the evidence for yourself and maybe
try it a bit later on.
|
 |
...and get Superfit for the Battle
A routine mammogram started my research. Although I
implemented some of the things you read here straight away
there is one bit of information I did not find out about
until recently and it has totally altered my approach. I
realise I was very vulnerable to Cancer and had been for
some time. I also realise that when I sort this out and
apply the other simple changes I will become that
Tough Cookie mentioned earlier.
|
 |
To Infinity and Beyond...
I am determined to live into a healthy, happy old age; to
realise my ambitions to travel around the world and to see
my grandchild grow up and maybe if enough people take this
advice, governments, farmers and food producers around the
world will have to sit up and take notice of us. Then
perhaps there may be hope for a better world for future
generations.

5 COMPELLING REASONS TO AVOID CANCER
LIFE AND HEALTH. As if the threat of a shortened and painful life is
not enough, operations and radio/chemo-therapy are
certainly no picnic. Any operation carries a risk of
thrombosis/post-operative stroke and there is always the
risk of infection.
FAMILY AND FRIENDS. Think
of the upset and worry the news will cause for those
closest to you, not to mention your own mental state.
MONEY. As well as any loss
of earnings, there will be extra expenses – travelling,
parking, prescriptions and childminding, for example.
TIME. A lot of your time
will be taken up in going to hospital, waiting for
appointments and other far from enjoyable activities.
AFTER EFFECTS. If you have
a breast cancer removed you will have a disfiguring
scar. Your lymph nodes will probably be removed so you
will never be able to lift heavy things again, including
your shopping, children or grandchildren. Other cancers
will have their own post-operative restrictions.
In short, it will seriously affect you and your
family mentally, physically and financially. So read
this advice and do your very best to stay cancer free.
